Anyway... I've contacted all the leading English language newspapers around the world totalling about 270 'individual' emails to try and avoid the spamming, phishing and whatever else is in their filtering systems and to try and get 'someone' to open and read the content. But, I understand the difficulty therein where large companies are concerned and want to avoid the spam and the like. Trouble is...'how do you' get a foot in the door? a credible company as it were trying to forge an opening in the business world?! Anyone with some 'insider knowledge' please drop me a line!
I did get some replies though in their defence, about 6 automated replies and then one 'cosher' reply from the 'Panorama' in Gibralter, asking for further information. It is early days yet as I did suggest a 'newsroom challenge' in my email hoping it might generate some form of interest and at least for them to try the games provided on my site... before sending out an almighty order! ;0) Hey, you gotta hope ain'tcha?! Otherwise what's the point?
I've got my work cut out as I'm spreading my spider web of contacts out into the big wide world and creating other avenues for the games. And I know they say the world is a small place given today's communications, but, when you're starting out anew and on a budget of zero, it's not so easy! You therefore have to try 'alternative' ways of getting that crucial exposure. It's a lark innit! (s'cuse my slang)
Ok, I give up... does anyone know how to use 'Twitter' or am I just a ignorant twit?!!? It seems (and I am a new member and looking at tutorials etc) you need 8 hours a day to keep in touch and on the ball which doesn't bode well when you have numerous other things to attend to during the course of a day. I'm sure I'll get to grips with it... soon!
Well, people of the world (if this damn wi fi connection goes down again I'm going to squeam!!) speak soon, take care, adios, chow, au revoir...
PS. It's only 80 sleeps 'til Christmas... just thought you'd like to know ;0)
