Finch - Game 1
How to play
There are eight rows each with ten cells and a 'total' cell at the end of each row. For this game each row will be filled with two words but you will alternate between letters and numbers, for eg: the word 'Finch' would be thus - F 9 N 3 H - and keeping the sequence to the end of the row. The value for each letter is in the table below.
At the beginning of each row, alternate between letters and numbers.
Note - You only add up the 5 numbers in each row to arrive at each total and not the letters as they don't contribute any value.
The objective is to have eight 'totals' which add up to the 'Grand Total' at the base of the grid.
Finch - Game 2
Refer to 'how to play' above.
For this next game include a 7 letter word in each row (plus a 3 letter word) keeping to the same format with alternate letters and numbers.
Remember - you only add the 5 numbers in each row to give you your 8 totals which you then add up to arrive at the Grand Total.
